72 Hours on the south coast of Sri Lanka – Culture & Cuisine

Historic relics, spiritual solace.
Whispering palms, sandy beaches.
Sunny skies, rolling surf.
Vivid nature, vibrant culture.

Sri Lankan’s may think of it as the “low country” but it’s one of the highlights of a visit to the Emerald Isle. A gentle sea-breeze and the heady scent of jasmine and frangipani evoke a tropical vibe. The fortified city of Galle is quaint, full of old world charm and reminiscent of a bygone era. Colourful local markets, food traditions and exquisite cuisine. Iconic stilt fishermen perch atop their poles, silhouetted in the sunset.

Welcome to our world.
